Cyan Forensics was in 10 Downing Street today meeting with senior advisors to the UK Prime Minister as part of the launch of GovStart 2019.
Speaking at today’s launch, Ian Stevenson, Cyan Forensics’ CEO said: “We are delighted to be joining the GovStart programme, as the team at PUBLIC have vast expertise forging relationships between government and startups.
“This is an exciting time for us following recent announcements by the UK Home Office that Cyan Forensics will be made available to UK policing as part of the new CAID capabilities, and the GovStart programme will help us explore other opportunities for our technology to support government policy initiatives from policing through to online harms.”
Cyan Forensics rapid triage technology was recently referred to as “game changing” by the UK Home Secretary, as it can very quickly detect if material already known to police is present on devices, improving the speed of investigations. The software can be used to detect indecent images of children or files related to terrorism.
